Norway Has Over 50,000 Islands

Off Norway's much-indented coastline lie some 50,000 islands, carved by deep glacial fjords. About two-thirds of Norway is mountainous, and nearly half of the country's inhabitants live in the far south around Oslo. This dramatic coastline creates one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in the world.
