Nancy Cartwright has voiced Bart Simpson since the show began in 1989. She auditioned for the role of Lisa, but felt a stronger connection with Bart's rebellious personality. Now in her 60s, she still performs the role. Cartwright also voices several other Springfield characters including Nelson, Todd Flanders, and Ralph Wiggum.
