Octopuses have three hearts and blue blood

An octopus has three hearts: two branchial hearts pump blood through the gills, while a third systemic heart circulates it through the body. Their blood is blue because it contains hemocyanin, a copper-based molecule, instead of the iron-based hemoglobin found in human blood.
