Russia has 11 time zones — more than any other country

Russia spans 11 time zones, stretching from UTC+2 (Kaliningrad) in the west to UTC+12 (Kamchatka) in the far east. The country is so wide that when it's Monday morning in Kamchatka, it's still Sunday afternoon in Kaliningrad. By land area, Russia is larger than Pluto's surface.
