The original iPhone had no copy and paste

When Apple launched the iPhone in 2007, it did not support copy and paste text. This basic feature wasn't added until iPhone OS 3.0 in June 2009 — two years after the device launched. Steve Jobs had deliberately omitted it, believing the initial implementation wasn't good enough.
